Today, Toast and I were supposed to get these things done - unclog a drain, weed the garden, mow the lawn, clean the kitchen and scrub the mildew off the shower curtain (it's plastic and I would normally just throw it out, but I'm trying to keep stuff out of landfills as much as I can).
The things that actually got done were the unclogging of the drain, the weeding of approximately 3 square feet of garden and clean up the brick sidewalk and driveway, and go through two giant piles of (37) saved magazines in the kitchen (this literally took about 2 hours, because I had to go through each one, check the dog-eared pages and either rip them out or do them). Not all of our planned stuff got done, but I cleaned the hallway, tidied up the dining room and Toast did two loads of laundry and cleaned the toilets.
I always get frustrated when things don't go as planned. Would you consider this a productive day even though barely half of our planned things got done? BTW, the lawn didn't really need mowing.

Semi-productive is good enough for me. :-)
Try putting your shower curtain in the washing machine. It actually works. Eventually (if it's the clear vinyl kind) it cracks or splits, but it works...or so I recall.
We have one of those fabric liners now to go with the more decorative outer curtain.

Damnit Furious. You beat me to it. Can't you leave the home making tips to your wife? Geez... one of the few tips I had, LOL!
Yay! Toast washed the shower curtain yesterday and, sure enough, it's clean and beautiful again! Thanks for the tips, you two.
